ABOUT US

Max McKenzie Ltd Builders

Max McKenzie Limited is a building construction company founded in 1965. The company is now under its second generation of McKenzie ownership with Frazer and Fiona McKenzie at the helm.

Frazer has been in control of the company since 1992 when he took over from his father and continues to run it with the same quality principles as his father did.

Frazer completed his apprenticeship in Hamilton, New Zealand with three separate employers covering volume house construction with the first employer, traditional old school carpentry and joinery with his second employer and commercial building with his third employer.

Frazer achieved an apprenticeship diploma from the New Zealand Master Builders Association along with his Trade Certificate in 1984. He continued and achieved his Advanced Trade Certificate before returning to Taumarunui to work with his father. Other qualifications include a certificate of competency to work with asbestos cement products, and a certificate of competency for advanced scaffolding.

We have built ourselves a reputation for delivering high quality results in the building industry whether its a new homestead, an alteration or some minor repairs, the focus is always on having a quality job that will last the test of time. We feel that this is very important as the life of our buildings is indefinite when partnered with good maintenance. We have continually invested in our future by attending product update seminars and trade meetings to keep abreast of changes in regulations and applications related to the building industry.

Max McKenzie Limited is committed to the protection of its employees, its property, and other people from accidental injury or damage from work carried out by and on behalf of the company and adopts health, safety and welfare as a fundamental business objective.
